Engaged on Monday May 25th, 2009

My fiance and I have been dating for four years. I constantly was asking him when we were going to get married and I kept saying it's about that time we get engaged. On May 25th I was supposed to go with him and his family out on his dad's boat, but I wasn't feeling good from the night before so I didn't want to go. Also, I was so fed up that we've been dating for four years and he still hadn't proposed so I was also being a little bit mean to him. So my fiance calls me up and tells me instead of the boat that they were all going shopping. A few hours passed by and he calls me again and tells me to get ready that he was going to take me out to dinner. I told him I didn't want to go anywhere that I just wanted to stay home. Finally I decided to go with him. I got dressed and he came and picked me up. As soon as he picked me up he said, "Let's go see the sunset!" I turn and I said, "I've asked you so many times to go see the sunset and you don't want to! Why now?" He said he wanted to because I wasn't feeling good. Anyway as we were driving he reaches in the back seat and hands me a teddy bear. We finally got to spot to see the sunset and we couldn't really see it. He reaches in the back seat again and gives me a big bag, inside the bag I pulled out a jar that said "Money for Chocolate" I LOVE chocolate! I opened the jar thinking I would find chocolate and there was a box!! A part of me didn't think it was a ring just because I've wanted to get engaged for so long, but the other part of me was thinking it was a ring and I started getting nervous. Finally I opened the box and there it was my RING!!! I was so excited that the only word that came out of my mouth was YES!! It was so funny because later I turned to him and said, "you know baby I don't think you even asked me to marry you." And he said, "Sia, you didn't give me a chance to ask you; you said yes!" And that's our engagement story!

We Plan to Wed on Saturday September 18th, 2010

We are finishing up planning our engagement party and after that we will sit down and discuss wedding plans.
